On March 10th from 2-2.30PM, during ITB Berlin NOW! 2021, there will be a live presentation by Thomas Hohenacker, CEO at Cleverciti, David Parker COO at Cleverciti and a member of the German tourism board. The presentation, which can be found under the title “Successfully Managing Overtourism with an Award-Winning Parking Guidance Solution”, will focus on a recent implementation Cleverciti did in Lübeck Bay, an important tourism region in the north of Germany, where they were tasked to steer visitor flow along the coast and make parking a much simpler process for holidaymakers and alleviate the increased traffic congestion for local residents. This successful concept landed 2 coveted German Tourism awards for The Tourismus-Agentur Lübecker Bucht.
